DieCast X Collectors Expo 2008 Bigger Than Ever!

Posted by: admin In: Events| Press Releases

April 19 – 20, 2008 at the Pomona, Calif. Fairplex

For over five years running, RCX has been the most dynamic, action-packed event showcasing the latest and greatest products in the radio control hobby, diecast, and model trains world. Now, it’s hotter than ever with four events in one: RCX, The DieCast X Collectors Expo, the Model Airplane News Expo and the All Scale Train Expo.

You’ll experience tons of outrageous excitement—from the dirt track, where the best nitro racers in trucks and buggies show their stuff…to a buyer’s bonanza that features thousands of diecast models…to the Flight Zone, where world-class pilots tear up the sky in head-to-head competition…to the largest outdoor model railroad in the U.S.

And Following the success of last year’s show, Hot Wheels will once again be in full force with …

  • Hot Wheels vending machine – Each pull ($5.00 per pull) will serve up one basic car from the machine, plus a special mystery gift!
  • Hot Wheels Custom Classics™ ‘32 Ford Sedan

    – New 1:50 scale casting, only 3,000 labeled for the show! Given away both days (while supply lasts).

  • Raffles – Several chances to win special prizes!
  • Tons of full-size show cars – The Twin Mill and more, direct from the Hot Wheels Hall of Fame at the Petersen Automotive Museum!
  • Tyco R/C demonstrations!
  • Interactive 40-foot gravity race tracks!
  • Coloring and free cars for kids!

About

We've been nuts about diecast cars for years and the only thing better than old models is new models! We're mainly into 1:18 scale but quickly finding interest in large 1:12 and 1:16 scale, as well as superbly detailed 1:43 diecast as well as 1:10 scale motorcycles! We don't have as much time as we'd like to update the blog, but over the years we've accumulated alot of good content here and hope you'll enjoy your stay and learn more about the diecast model car collecting hobby!
